Sometime in mid September, 2011, eight men set out on a quest for gold in a series of events that would test them mentally as much as it would their physical strength and stamina. 

In the end there could be only one winner to stand atop the tree stump podium, but the success of the Jer Olympics ensured in us all that our efforts were not in vain, and that the annual pilgrimage to Pointe Au Baril, Ontario to fight for athletic supremacy will live on.

On Friday, October 7 2011, DraftFCB took part in a global initiative to give back to children in our communities. This year I had the pleasure of helping with the morning breakfast program at Blake Street Public School. This video shows only a small portion of what our global network of companies did around the world. It was a fantastic and very grounding experience. It’s so easy to get caught up in our hectic lives and lose sight of how fortunate we are. The smiles on the kids faces when we did as little as show them attention or listen what they were saying, were priceless. It was a pleasure taking part in this and made me feel proud of where I worked.
